Winning in the marketplace requires strategies that both leverage
and drive competitive change and leaders that know how to
shape and drive the necessary organizational change.

Our program’s structure and flow will be aligned to both the
strategic challenges and to the most urgent leadership
development needs for our client.

Individuals learn best in applying new perspectives.  Thus, as
much as possible, action teams will hear a framework or
perspective and apply that perspective to either their challenge
or to their leadership.

Coaching helps individuals confront development needs and
capitalize on strengths.  However coaches need more than one
session with each individual to achieve maximum benefit.  
Coaches should be highly experienced in working with senior
leaders.  

Two models from the Columbia program should be retained in
order to generate common language.  Those two models are the
1) Learn, Focus, Align, Execute model as the necessary steps in
strategy and 2) the notion of a winning proposition as distinct from
a mere value proposition.

Objectives:

      o  Be dynamic leaders in an ever changing marketplace

•  To increase leadership efficiency and effectiveness in a global    
organization

      o  Expanding knowledge of the global marketplace in terms
of the competitive environment and the economic trends

      o  Increase ability to work in a global organization – with
different cultures, across boundaries, between silos, within a
matrix given various competing agendas

•  To enhance leadership capability by increasing the ability to:

      o  Influence
      o  Be more versatile  
      o  Cope with uncertainty
      o  Drive change

•  To improve ability to be more strategic in a results and growth
focused organization including ability to see patterns and trends
into the future and to take action

• To expand knowledge of strategic tools and perspectives
available within the organization including:

      o  Financial performance
      o  Talent management
      o  Business ethics  
      o  Corporate brand
      o  Innovation and emerging technologies

•  To integrate external and internal perspectives

•  To create a leadership development experience that is relevant
to
LDC experience but not the same as LDC
