Terry Lockhart
Terry Lockhart has focused on organisational and leadership development in complex, global organisations for over 20 years.

Terry started at The Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) working with Japanese businesses that were planning for the Single European Market. He was also a Lecturer on International Relations at the London School of Economics for six years.

He moved to be a senior researcher for the Price Waterhouse Cranfield Project on HR trends, policies and practices across private and public sectors in 14 European countries. He was then invited to join the faculty of Cranfield School of Management as their first Lecturer on International Business.

His career with investment banking began with Morgan Stanley where he led management development and the Learning and Development team in Europe. He moved from there to Citigroup as head of Organisational Effectiveness and then to Barclays Capital as the Global Head of Leadership, Learning and Development. His most recent role in the City was at Merrill Lynch as Head of Leadership and Development for EMEA. Under his direction, the Merrill Lynch team was rated one of the top three UK L&D functions in the 2007 Sunday Times’ Top Places to Work.

He is a Corporate Advisor for the EQUIS business school accrediting board, on the Corporate Advisory Board of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), the MBA Advisory Board of Cranfield and a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs.
