Maureen Hedges
Maureen has over twenty years experience in individual, management and organisational development. After initial experience in industry, the health service and with the National Institute of Industrial Psychology, she has since 1980 worked independently and as an associate of several international consultancies and management colleges specialising in executive coaching, leadership development, and change management. Experienced in career counseling and selection as well as development, she has extensive experience in working with individuals on a one to one basis and in designing and delivering developmental workshops. Since 1990, her work has increasingly involved executive coaching at all levels to CEO, often combined with small group facilitation of action learning sets. Leadership development, influencing others, managing oneself and others through significant change, coping with increasing demands, and career planning have been some of the dominant themes. Her interests span personal, professional and organisational development.

Maureen has coached executives and professional specialists at all levels to CEO. She is an accredited coach with Ashridge business school and regularly works with the Centre for Creative Leadership, Brussels. Often she is working with large organisations which operate globally but she works across most sectors, with clients from public, private and not for profit organisations. More recent experience has included clients in finance, oil, the media, pharmaceuticals, museums, utilities, health, manufacturing, various government departments, IT, and the airline industry.

Maureen is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and a Member of the Division of Counselling Psychology. She has an MSc in Occupational Psychology and a BSc in Psychology. She is a trained career counsellor and also holds the BPS Level A and B certificates of competence in psychological testing. Regular use is made of a variety of psychometric tools including the MBTI, OPQ, 16PF, FIRO-B, CPI, career inventories and various 360-degree feedback instruments. She enjoys drawing on a range of analytical and creative methodologies to raise awareness, generate potential solutions, and aid practical implementation.
