Dr. Bruce H. Reed has worked in a variety of roles including directing a youth services program, director of pupil services in an overseas school in the Middle East, teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses and managing organizational and individual development for a Fortune 500 company for 20 years. During the last 10 years of his corporate experience Bruce also worked as an external consultant. In 2002 he started Results Oriented Consulting LLC a practice specializing in helping individuals and organizations build and sustain high performance relationships.
His experiences coaching and consulting with senior executives through first line managers in large, medium and small business and construction project settings have given Bruce a good understanding of the issues confronting leaders at all levels and the importance of linking strategy and goals to individual accountability.
Over the past 15 years he has designed and helped implement processes for:
- Executive coaching.
- Building and sustaining alliance and partnering relationships (B to B; Highway/Vertical
Construction).
- Work alignment (strategy – goals/roles relationships).
- Senior leadership team development.
- Tracking and evaluating goal progress.
Using his experiences as an internal and external consultant Bruce has developed three unique approaches for achieving business and individual development goals:
- Executive Coaching Process (ECP) a practical approach that enables business leaders to learn from experience and quickly apply that learning.
- Partnering for Success (PFS) for addressing Performance, Process and People needs for conventional and design-build transportation and vertical construction projects.
- Work Alignment (WA) for helping senior teams and business units develop goals, identify role accountabilities and set expectations for working together to achieve results.

Bruce received a doctorate (EdD) from Boston University (MA) in the area of counseling and psychological development. He continues to be involved in research on how to take the lessons of experience and turn them into both tactical, practical tools for use on the job and a deeper understanding of what it takes to develop high performance relationships.
Bruce has held leadership positions in several professional associations including ASTD and was involved in designing learning events for DBIA NC and ACEC NC.
